A bridge is taking one or more vacation days next to a legal holiday to extend the time off.
What is a long weekend?
It happens when a holiday falls next to the weekend (for example Friday or Monday) and no vacation days are needed.
How is the “best ratio” chosen?
We prioritize opportunities that give more days off per vacation day taken. Natural long weekends do not use vacation days.
